INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF POULTRY AVIAN FOWL CHOLERA VACCINE
BIOFORS FC GEL SUB 0.25
1. Description:
BIOFORS FC GEL SUB 0.25 is an inactivated vaccine containing the PlpE antigen (Pasteurella lipoprotein E) and inactivated Pasteurella multocida strain TS bacteria (serotype A:1). The vaccine is produced by harvesting Pasteurella multocida bacteria grown in culture medium and PlpE antigen protein expressed on Escherichia coli bacteria cultured in bacterial culture. Subsequently, the vaccine is inactivated and supplemented with excipients. The vaccine is in the form of a grayish-white liquid.
2. Components per dose (in 0.25ml):
Pasteurella multocida inactivated strain TS: …………………………… ≥ 2×108 CFU
Pasteurella lipoprotein E (PlpE): ………………………………… ≥ 50 μg
3. Purpose:
Prevention of fowl cholera in poultry
4. Route and dose of administration:
– Route of administration: For intramuscular injection
– Dosage:
+ First vaccination for chickens, ducks, geese at two weeks of age or older with a single dose (0.25ml) per bird.
+ Second vaccination approximately 2-3 weeks after the first dose with a single dose (0.25ml) per bird.
5. Storage:
Store in a dark place at a temperature of 2-8oC. Do not freeze.
6. Packaging:
Box: 200 doses/50ml, 400 doses/100ml, 500 doses/125ml, 1000 doses/250ml, and 2000 doses/500ml
7. Expiry date:
2 years from the date of manufacture
