GUIDE TO USING CNC PED PRODUCT
(Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Vaccine)
1. Composition
Vaccine vial: Each dose contains at least 105.5 TCID50 PED-3 strain attenuated virus isolated in Vietnam developed on Vero cell line and lyophilized with adjuvant.
Diluent vial: Contains a special formulation SPGA including Sucrose, Phosphate buffer system, Glutamate, and Albumin
2. Uses
– Provides active immunity for pregnant sows and susceptible post-weaning pigs
– Provides maternal antibodies to newborn piglets through milk to protect against PED virus
3. Administration and Dosage
– Reconstitute the vaccine vial with the accompanying diluent vial
– Inject 2 ml of reconstituted vaccine subcutaneously to each sow and susceptible post-weaning pigs
– Two doses: the first dose injected at 4 – 5 weeks before farrowing, the second dose injected at 2 – 3 weeks before farrowing
4. Precautions
– Use vaccine only in healthy pigs
– Vaccination equipment must be sterile
– Avoid high temperatures after reconstituting the vaccine, use within 2 – 3 hours
– In case of vaccine reaction, spray cool water on pigs and administer Adrenalin to quickly alleviate symptoms
5. Storage:
Store at 2 – 8°C, protect from direct sunlight.

Vial: 1; 3; 5; 10; 20; 25 or 50 doses
Box: 1 or 10 vials
7. Expiry date:
24 months from the date of manufacture
